Yo Gotti has officially added a new name to his CMG roster with Dallas-based rapper Zillionaire Doe.

Gotti revealed the signing in a press release, saying: “I really believe in Zillionaire Doe’s talent and hustle. He’s built organic buzz on his own, but now, we want to build the right team structure around him to maximize his full potential. With CMG’s foundation and resources, we feel like Doe can elevate to a new level and become a star.”

Twenty three-year-old Doe launched his rap career in 2022 and took off the following year with his viral hit “D Boi Dreams.” Since then, he’s been co-signed by the likes of FutureGloRillaRod WaveMoneybagg Yo and more.

“I’m really excited to work with Gotti and the CMG family,” he told Billboard. “I looked up to him growing up, so it’s a full-circle experience. This is a special opportunity, so I’m just ready to work hard, learn from Gotti, put on for my hometown and become the next biggest artist out of Dallas.”

In an interview with Forbes last February, Yo Gotti explained that his $100 million empire has been, in part, inspired by JAY-Z.

Gotti revealed that he’d been taking classes at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management since December of 2023, and focused on such business concepts as corporate valuation.

“I may want to buy a company or acquire another company,” he said. “So I’m making sure I’m supertight—and understand the language and the verbiage myself other than listening to financial experts.”

Hov himself gave a quote to Forbes about his mentee’s progress, praising his business acumen and adding that it’s “evident in every move [Gotti] makes, breaking the mold of the old-guard definition of an executive.”

In addition to his CMG Music Group, which along with Zillionaire Doe includes Moneybagg Yo, GloRilla, Blac Youngsta and more, Gotti also has a minority stake in the MLS team D.C. United and owns the restaurant Prive in Memphis.

“If I never wrote another rap again, I’m financially straight,” he told the publication. “My whole career, I was setting up for that.”
